Boys Hooded Crochet Cardigan Pattern 18 months Toddler (FREE CROCHET PATTERN)

I have updated the popular Boys Hooded Crochet Cardigan Pattern. For ages 12-18 months and it still remains a free crochet pattern.

I was recently sent an image circling Pinterest asking if I could find the pattern for this Crocheted boys hooded cardigan. I was surprised to see it WAS MY PATTERN, just someone else who had made it and posted their finished project on Ravelry.

However, when I carried out a reverse search for Boys hooded cardigan FREE crochet Pattern and the image out of curiosity I found the image being used in these sites that claim to be free croche pattern sites but actually just take you on a wild goose chase! My Pet hate. I detest these sites that steal designers’ images and use them as clickbait.

ANYWAY

Mystery solved

I also decided to re-visit the original Crochet cardigan Pattern which is still available in 3 sizes and 2 different pattern styles,  (Boys hooded cardigan FREE crochet Pattern  HERE)

My daughter asked me to make my grandson one in Grey so I decided to update the Pattern at the same time.

FINISH

Sleeve Edging:
With Right Side facing.
Join yarn at lower Edge:
Ch1, work 25 SC across, turn work 2 more rows in sc.
Fasten off. Or if you prefer to Front Post Double Crochet around you can do whatever you feel. I actually left the banding OFF of my grandsons as he is at the Mud kitchen and water stages, so his cuffs become soaking easily. So my daughter asked if his sleeve could be left shorter, but still wanted to have the cozy cardigan on whilst outside! but not continually worry about the sleeve getting soaked! Genius!
